camper decals amazon
Hey daddy can you do my car please
Was one 32oz bottle enough for the whole rig? Thanks
Only thing is that when u remove decals that's been on a long time, the paint don't match, how do u fix that
Thanks for the info. God bless.
Is the Rapid Remover Vinyl Letter Remover spray safe to use the painted metal siding that are many RV's?
Thx
Can you use a hair dryer if you don't have a heat gun?
Awesome info and will be using this technique on our Rv. Thank you!!!
It looks good,I like the generic look.
I think you would have much better luck with a 3M brand 'stripe off wheel'. I love it. The adhesive comes off.
The only remover I haven't tried yet is the abrasive wheel. My vinyl decal is 5'x8' and has been baking in the western sun for at least 6 years. The heat gun has given a start, but it is so slow that I've given it up. The company that installed the decal said they use Rapid Remover to remove decals. I doubt that. It may be working on the adhesive, once the decal is lifted, but using it in hot sun this morning didn't seen to affect the decal at all. Guess I'll try a wheel and live with the several days-long process to remove the decal.
I have tried to remove the graphics on mine and have used the wheel as well as the heat gun and scraper, to no effect. I have tried recommended products to no avail. I'm thinking of just sanding them and the painting. I must admit I think I beat. Anyone with any new ideas would be appreciated.
awesome info, about how long did it take you to remove all the decals?
I have the "protective" rear fender decals and are cracking and look horrible on my 2012 tacoma, I just bought a heat gun to remove other decals on my truck so I'll definitely use it for the rear fenders as well 👍🏽
My boat has the same issues with cracked and aged vinyl striping. I dread the work but am going with the heat gun method. Thanks for the video!
Pretty cool! We are looking to buy a used 5th wheel and I will remove the graphics as you did. Looks great! I used to work next door to Alpha when it was in Chino CA before they closed it down.
How long do you think it took to remove the vinyls and adhesive?
I honestly found that a combo of heat and the wheel work best https://youtu.be/7eEUkRcFwlU?si=Ovr4fHxgKvzit0hx
Will this method work for corrugated metal siding?
Is there a video for putting on new stripes
How did you address sections where the gel coat is peeling?
This is the best decal remover I've seen on YT! 👍
I like the music tho
Great information, the music to fill the quiet space is annoying.
Plain colors look better than the crazy color schemes they sell today. Would've thunk there would be some sun fade shading differences after removing the decals. Nice work. I bet that took some time and effort.
Thanks for sharing, we have some cracking on some of our decals also, this video will help.
Your rig looks some much nicer with no decals. That’s a great look.
I have a small sign shop in Winters, Texas and we use Rapid Remover all the time for removing graphics. I found that using the wheel to remove vinyl doesn't always work for large graphics. I have used it for small vinyl items like names or small logos. I'm a small shop but I do pinstriping by hand and large graphics for motorhomes and trailers that can't get the graphics from the manufacturers. We have a 30' Highland Ridge ultra light trailer that we use for our road trips and we are getting our house ready to sell so we can buy a class A motorhome to travel full time in. I have been looking at the Alfa brand and for ones in the 2001 to 2006 range.
Are you planning on adding any other Graphic stripes or decals back to Rosie? She looks nice all white but she also looks a little naked. I know that you can’t get the details from Alfa but I believe there are decals you can get from other manufacturer that would make her look really cool. Just wandering.
Very informative. Nice job.
Wow! Boy do you have some patience. Great job!! I attempted to do the same thing on my boat years ago and ended up getting new vinyl stickers to go over the old..It turned out great.
I found some colors (burgundy-black)came right off while (silver) was a battle. Took 20+ plus hours to do one side of trailer. Putting on graphics of planes ,bears, fishermen and landscape. Thanks RWR
