camper decals
mine were really old and I used a honda pressure washer and they came off fast and clean just don't touch nothing but the plastic lol
Im ❤getting grateful dead stickers
Duude don't they use a heat gun to get decals up with. May of been easier . Ide look remember seeing people using heat guns. Makes it easier.
Looks Great
I'm gonna do this to my 2000 minnie winnie thanks for the inspiration, I have all the materials to make my own
It would have been cheaper to tape it off and paint it
Looks awesome!
I hate Rv graphics. I think they are absolutely GARISH.
What I would like is a landscape mural much like what
is seen on the sides of U haul trucks. I LOVE those!
See Minnesota, the Great Lakes, The Texas Gulf Coast,
The Golden Gate Bridge, visit The Redwoods, The Grand
Canyon. Travel & visit it what Rvs are all about.
But I hate decals.
!
Great job
Where do you order the decal?
I think using a heat gun sparingly would do a good job. By sparingly I mean, don’t get so close that it burns, but far enough away to still melt the adhesive.
what have you done with thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis video is equel TO ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO u motherfucker idiot!!!!!!!
Liked it better white
I'm wondering if a heat gun on low setting wouldn't have worked much faster to soften/remove the decals. Works on old bumper stickers! Try this in an inconspicuous spot, needless to say!
Heat gun works great to remove the strips
Looks very nice
Big improvement, removing that old vinyl is a slow process, looks great.
Looks good😃😃
Nice! My class A needs similar. The bottom storage area, and entire front will be done in Line-X truckbed coating. You're would look AWESOME on the bottom edge. As is… INCREDIBLE difference! Nice work!
This was excellent! Thank you!
Why not use a heat gun
where did you buy the decals?
You left out a step……. after stripping graphics and wax,,,,, POLISH/BUFF the vehicle before applying new graphics
Did you do the soapy water method also or just hinge method
I need low price place to ger single vinyl sticker. we have the save version as this one
Nice job on doing the graphics. You could have added more pizazz by adding another color in your scheme and your RV would have looked much classier. Actually you could still add a few more swishes in another color to make it stand out. There is also another easier way to remove graphics using an item you can buy at Walmart for $50-$60. I am a retired vinyl lettering guy who has done vinyl lettering on motor homes, airplanes, construction trailers etc for many years.
A lot of people ask where "Jack" got his decals. Simply search for "RV decals or Graphics" Even Amazon carries some. At almost the very end "Jack" says he used paint thinner to help soften the old decals. Paint thinner (a type of Varsol) along with cautious use of a heat gun works really great, better than Goo Gone, or WD 40 to remove adhesive residue. Work on a cool day, not in the blazing sun. It is best to work in stages. No sharp scrapers. Use plastic blades. As you remove the old stuff, wipe off the softenend adhesive with the varsol, then wipe some more using basic rubbing alcohol from a drug store to give you a super clean surface for the new decals. The whole job is a bit tedious, but you'll save a ton of money. Do your application on a day with temps between 70 & 80 degrees. Park so that application side of the RV is out of direct sunlight. Keep some beer in the RV fridge, and a shady rest area, and the work will go best.
where did you get the graphics?
I heated my graphics with a heat gun and they came off with a plastic scraper then applied an adhesive remover from Lowe's. Did a 30' fifth wheel in 2 hrs.
That link for the graphics on ebay doesn't work
Hello, where did you buy the graphics and how did you design the layout and measurements.
Thank you
That came out fantastic! Wow! Good for you! Thanks for sharing! We love that DIY sense of accomplishment!
3M adhesive remover for glue residue (or acetone lightly on a rag)
Heat gun to soften old vinyl.
Plastic razor blades
BUFF it out after graphics are removed to even out surface & minimize shadows.
Apply graphics
Polish & Wax
Use contrasting colors. Here the Dk blue & black look the same. Monochromatic. I'd use black & a bright color.
Where did you get your graphics from?
looks great.. Id add a second set of swishes with a different complimentary color to really make it pop!
Good job need to do the same! Much better
Looks so much better. nice work!
